Miranda la poupée géante arrive à Cosne d'Allier.
Elle sera installée  dans les locaux de cONcErn parmi les autres œuvres de grande taille qui y sont préservés.
Pour cette occasion je présente une nouvelle performance:

Ma performance est un rêve, un acte poétique que je donne à vivre en vrai à ce moment là.
Mon cheminement cosmique et abstrait se réalise, il devient physique, matériel et le spectateur en est le témoin visuel et sensible.

Miranda the giant doll arrives in Cosne d'Allier.
She will be set up in the cONcErn premises between the other large sized art pieces that are preserved there.
For this occasion I will be presenting a new performance:
 Waiting for sight #4 / Miranda's reconstitution 

My performance is a dream, a poetic act that I'm bringing to life, experimenting in real at this very moment.
My cosmic and abstract process realises itself, becoming physical, material. The public becomimg the visual and sensual witnesses.

Satyriconte is a portmanteau word in which Tale’s universe meets Satire’s world.

It’s a research questioning the process and the consequences of the good education.

It reconsiders the ancestral function of the civilization which moderates our physical ardour.

Now, surrounded by the pornocraty, how reacts our beast side?

It wonders about the origin of our desire: is it a porno-copy or is it coming from deep in ourselves?

And what happens to our humanity beyond our pulsions?

Carrying mirrors along the Waal 

a video installation from Julia Boix-Vives @ Incubate open source exhitition 

Completely covered by a slew of oval shaped mirrors, the artist transforms into a landscape platform. The environment is multiplied on the reflecting surfaces displaying a rapidly sliding image or making the artist disappear in alternation .

The mirror in front of her face prevents her from looking, the other mirrors constrain her movements.

Slowly she traverses the camera field while encountering numerous obstacles : the terrain is rough and slippery along the shores of the Waal.

In the editing of the video even the performance is multiplied, leaving the spectator in a disturbing insecurity.

Recouverte d'une multitude de miroirs aux formes ovales, l'artiste se transforme en plateforme à paysage. L'environnement se multiplie sur les surfaces réfléchissantes tantôt renvoyant une image qui glisse à toute vitesse tantôt faisant disparaître l'artiste.

Le miroir plaqué sur son visage l'empêche de voir, les autres réduisent la capacité des ses mouvements.

Lentement elle traverse le champ de la caméra rencontrant maintes difficultés : le terrain est accidenté et glissant sur les abords sauvages de la rivière Waal.

Dans le montage de la vidéo la performance même se multiplie jetant le spectateur dans une inquiétante incertitude.

NL versie:

Van top tot teen bedekt door een groot aantal ovalen spiegels, transformeert de kunstenaar zich tot een landschapsplatform. De omgeving ververmenigvuldigt zich in de spiegelende oppervlakten die nu eens een zich razendsnel voorbijglijdend beeld terugkaatsen, dan weer de kunstenaar doen verdwijnen.

De spiegel die op haar gezicht geplakt is verhindert haar te kijken, de andere spiegels beperken haar mogelijkheden tot bewegen.

Langzaam beweegt ze door het cameraveld heen terwijl ze talrijke obstakels tegenkomt : het terrein is ruw en glibberig langs de wilde oevers van de rivier de Waal.

In de montage van de video wordt zelfs de performance vermenivuldigd, waardoor de toeschouwer in een verontrustende onzekerheid terechtkomt.
